Our History


Potter Raper Partnership was founded in 1970 in Beckenham, Kent, by the late Gerry Potter and Mike Raper as a Practice primarily providing Quantity Surveying Services. The Practice has developed throughout the last 40 years by introducing new disciplines including Project Management, Employer's Agent, Building Surveying, Clerk of Works and Health and Safety services. Potter Raper Partnership have developed into one of the most successful and well respected construction consultancy firms.


Our Approach

Potter Raper Partnership employ approximately ninety five staff and can justifiably claim to be a well established and highly respected Practice. The Practice, however, continues to retain the personal touch with its belief in a policy of an ongoing involvement at Partner level with all Clients, ensuring that commissions are executed in a professional and businesslike manner.

Our Clients are essential to our business.

A constant flow of commissions for a variety of Clients has helped us to develop a broad range of experience and expertise. These commissions have been undertaken for central and local government organisations, Healthcare Trusts, Industrial and Commercial Clients, Hotels and Leisure complexes, Housing Associations, Retailers. This experience has ensured that we continuously improve and has made us a better Practice allowing us to provide a range of versatile services, producing projects to a very high standard thereby making our Clients happy. This has resulted in a substantial volume of repeat business.

With offices based in Beckenham, Colchester, and London the Practice
is well placed to offer our high quality services to Clients throughout the
Country.
